ost of 75$ did seem steap at first, you get more than you think. All meals are provided and you get a kit to take away with you. For us student teachers, you get a vochure for the kit for when you do become teachers that way you get the grade in which you are teaching. Rosemary Hunter, the presenter for the portfolio workshop we had in counselling group led this seminar as well. She was very encouraging and enthusiastic about the course which made it that much more worthwhile. I do suggest that those of you who have not taken this course take it the next time it is offered. There was discussion about a possible workshop just after our second block is over.

Lions Quest Workshop

I agree completely with you. The two days flew by and it was well worth the time put in. I would suggest everyone who did not make it to this workshop looks for the next one.
I agree with all of your comments- it was a GREAT 2 days...Rosemary was AMAZING, our host Sue was a sweetheart, and it was so helpful, especially for those of us who will be at Lions Quest schools for our 2nd blocks. They REALLY want to hold another workshop (which I recommend EVERYONE attends)- we told them we have our Block until May 2nd (9th for out-of-region) so if anyone is interested in taking the workshop after our blocks, let our counsellors know- The Lion's Club wants numbers and possible dates so they can plan something for those who couldn't make it this past weekend.
