Happy St. Patrick's Day
Hello, everyone! I hope the "luck of the Irish" will be with you today as you start Block II! We will be thinking about you today and hope it was a great start to an event seven (or fewer ) weeks!
We will be dropping by in the next couple of weeks to visit with you, but just in case you need us before then--do not hesitate to call! Do not wait if you have any questions or concerns!
One item: I will be moving in the middle of next week, so yes, you guessed it, my Internet and phone will be down (March 26-27) for a couple of days. Just call the Brock phone number for me if you need me then and I'll get back to you as soon as possible!
Drop us a note on this blog if you find something great to share!

Just a reminder that materials from the Instructional Resource Centre are due May 5, 2008. Please do not let the materials become overdue (you can return them, or you can renew them on-line) as we are required to submit names with overdues to the Registrar if you still have overdue items the morning of the Pre-service Promotions meeting (May 5th).

Your Sweater Payment!
Hi Everyone,
Just as a reminder, I need your sweater payment by this Thursday before counselling group so that I can give it to Kristin. I will make sure to arrive to my 8am class by 7:45am in WH 208 so that you can meet me there with the goods!
Please Please Please arrange to pass me on the money - or give it to me at some point before 12:00pm - because she has been so sweet by putting the entire order on her visa, and I don't see her after I have gym class from 12-2pm :(
There was some confusion who ordered sweaters - so look for your name on this list if you still owe the $40.00. (im sorry if this makes some uncomfortable, i just want to make sure this runs over easy and is all dealt with by Thursday morning)
1. Ash
2. Janet
3. Kim
4. Alex Sargent
5. Dave
6. Kari
7. Tiffany
8. Patricia
9. Meagan
10. Angie
11. Leah
The sweaters are said to be ready by this Friday! Yay! Alex has offered to pick them up and we will arrange a way for you to get them - i promise :)
Hope you like them,
Angela

They Come in the Name of Helping
The Come in the Name of Helping - A film by Peter Brock.
This short documentary calls for respect and humility. Watch what development efforts look like to the people of Africa. I wanted to share this with all of you because I know many of you hold a strong interest in global teaching.
